On Wednesday (28.08.13), I spent the day performing new poetry with other young writers on the 50th anniversary of MLK’s “I have a dream” speech, as part of Architects of Our Republic by Apples and Snakes at London’s Southbank Centre. Yesterday evening, I was in workshop The Last Poets and some of the other writers I’ve collaborated with over the past month.

This experience was beyond amazing, I am truly grateful and honoured to have taken part. I know that what I have gained is invaluable and will be transformed into various energies as I continue to grow as a performance poet.
